As of 8:50 am EDT, President-elect Obama announced the following people to fill posts on his National Security Team.

Hillary Clinton - Secretary of State

Robert Gates - Secretary of Defense (Bush appointee)

Eric Holder - Attorney General

Janet Napolitano - Head of Homeland Security

Susan Rice - U. S. Ambassador To United Nations

General James Jones - National Security Advisor
